Half-Term Wildlife Trail

Herd of deer with sheep

Throughout February half-term, Saturday 14th to Sunday 22nd February, take part on our Adlington wildlife trail.

A self-guided trail and fun adventure for the whole family.

Map of the Wildlife Trail

This trail takes you through countryside that would be affected by the proposed Adlington New Town development. Starting at The Windmill pub (SK10 5SJ) to collect your trail checklist or download below. The Windmill is closed on Monday and Tuesday but they have generously permitted the use of their car park.

Follow the map at your own pace and see how many of the wildlife animals you can spot along the way. Wellies are recommended, some parts are muddy!

Once you have completed the trail, return to The Windmill to enjoy a drink and maybe a tasty bite too. Share your photos to be featured in our Nature Gallery .
