Your Voice Matters

Please take a few minutes to write or email those concerned.

If you haven’t already written to your MP and the key decision-makers about the Adlington proposals, please consider doing so before it’s too late. Personal letters and emails really do make a difference, and the more of us who speak up, the stronger our community’s voice will be.

You don’t need to be an expert or write anything complicated. What matters is that you share your concerns in your own words.

Today, the front page of the Congleton Chronicle featured the campaign to stop Adlington New Town, highlighting the issues it would cause for Congleton residents.

We are the Supporters of the Adlington Greenelt, a community-led group of residents dedicated to protecting Adlington’s countryside, preserving local heritage, and ensuring development decisions are made openly, responsibly, and democratically.

BBC Question Time came to Macclesfield today, with Adlington New Town featuring prominently in the discussion—highlighting just how important the issue is to local people.

We have a small number of people attending as audience members on the night with some Adlington New Town related questions, but we felt it would be positive to also have a welcoming committee visible for the panel members as they arrive.

Tim Roca, MP for Macclesfield has circulated a petition to oppose Adlington New Town.
