Protest

This weekend our campaign team took to the road, bringing the message about the proposed Adlington New Town directly to neighbouring towns and villages.

Today, our supporters showed out in force at Tatton Park for the Cheshire East Council meeting to remind councillors we’re still here.

On Saturday 7th March, we’ll be taking the Adlington campaign on the road.

We’re setting off in a decorated minibus to visit surrounding towns and villages to raise awareness about the proposed development in Adlington and speak directly with local residents about what’s happening.

Following the protest at Tatton Park we have some more events planned.

The next Cheshire East Council meeting will be held at Tatton Park on 25th February and we intend to have a presense there to ensure that Adlington is not forgotten about. There will be an opportunity for members of the public to speak and we will post the details once they become available.

BBC Question Time came to Macclesfield today, with Adlington New Town featuring prominently in the discussion—highlighting just how important the issue is to local people.
