| 200 Say No to Belport at Consultation |
On Saturday 15th November, around 200 people came together around Adlington Hall to say No to Belport and No to Adlington New Town. The first public consultation for the proposed new town was held inside the hall, whole outside, throughout the entire day, local residents gathered in a powerful and peaceful show of resistance. People of all ages lined the road, holding banners, sharing stories, and making it clear that this development is not wanted here.
