Today, our supporters showed out in force at Tatton Park for the Cheshire East Council meeting to remind councillors we’re still here.

    On the agenda for today’s meeting was a Notice of Motion of no confidence in the leader and deputy leader, Councillors Mannion and Gorman, primarily for the letter they signed to the New Towns Task Force stating their support for the Adlington New Town proposal.

    Sarah Burrows made a statement to highlight the views of residents.

    There was heated debate preceding the vote of no confidence which concluded with the motion failing 36 to 41 with 1 abstained.
