Location: Poynton Relief Road roundabout in Adlington near to Starbucks (SK10 4NL), there will be people positioned to direct you to parking wearing high vis.
☆This is a stationary protest at 1 fixed location☆
We are coming together again to show how much our community cares about protecting Adlington’s beautiful Greenbelt. This will be a peaceful, friendly protest where everyone is welcome. It is a chance to talk, show support, and stand together for the countryside we all value.
Wrap up warm and bring friends, family, and neighbours.
Parking:
Parking is available on the road next to Starbucks.
Additional parking can be found at Adlington Park Industrial Estate, a two-minute walk north of the site.
Please share this widely. We want a strong turnout to show that our community continues to stand strongly and united in protecting Adlington’s precious greenbelt.
Wrap up warmly in case its a bit chilly, we have badges and car stickers to hand out so please join us if you can.
We will have placards to share, but if you have time homemade are great, variety keeps people engaged. If you have any from previous protests please use again.
For this protest we are hoping to see as many costumes, inflatable bees, frogs, cows, deer its as fun and engaging as we make it! We will be hosting a few community engagement crafty events so keep an eye out t-shirt design competitions for kids keep an eye out.
