Question Time Supporters of the Adlington Greenbelt Presence

Updated: January 19, 2026

We have a small number of people attending as audience members on the night with some Adlington New Town related questions, but we felt it would be positive to also have a welcoming committee visible for the panel members as they arrive.

Just to show our opposition is strong.

This will be an entirely peaceful endeavour, similar to our presence at the Reimagining New Towns event at Manchester Alliance Business School last year.

If you have placards already, or have time to make one, please do bring them along. We will have a few available, but we’re hoping some can be reused by people who already have them.

Practical details

  • Parking: Please park on the side roads off Priory Lane or towards the leisure centre. It’s not ideal, but unfortunately there are no other options nearby.
  • Meeting point: Main entrance gate on Alderley Road (the gate nearest Macclesfield). Postcode: SK10 4SP
  • Time: Please arrive at 4.30pm. This should allow enough time for the school to clear beforehand. Question Time itself starts filming at 5.30pm, so we are only planning to have a presence for approximately one hour beforehand.

Thank you all, and we hope to see you there.
