Adlington Park is a proposal for approximately 1,275 new homes on Greenbelt land on the north-west edge of Adlington, Cheshire, between London Road (A523) and Mill Lane.
In 2025 Adlington New Town was proposed. We successfully opposed this . Now, Adlington Park has been presented.
The developer describes the proposal as a landscape-led development including:
- New homes
- A new primary school
- A local centre
- Retail and community uses
- Outdoor sports provision
- Cycle hire and car-sharing
- Provision for public services
These facilities may form part of the proposal, but the key question is whether they are sufficient, funded, secured and capable of being delivered alongside 1,275 homes.
